On Thursday, November 20, 2014, Amy Perko and Scott Hirko will present a workshop on the Knight Commission’s NCAA Division I Athletic and Academic Spending Database to attendees at the Association for the Study of Higher Education annual conference in Washington, DC.
The workshop will provide an opportunity to learn more about the financial database and its potential uses to compare key spending data and trends of NCAA Division I public athletic programs. Participants will also learn how the data have been and can be used in policy-making and decisions. In addition, details will be provided about a research awards program for projects that use the database. Research awards of up to $5,000 per project will be provided.
