McClendon is an agent with WME Sports and its football vertical representing coaches and executives across professional and collegiate football. He steps into this position after serving six seasons with the Los Angeles Rams as the Director of Football Affairs. In his position, he worked closely with the head coach, general manager and VP of Football Administration where he served as a key liaison between football and business operations while assisting in the scouting department. During his tenure, the Rams won Super Bowl LVI. McClendon was a two-time participant in the Ozzie Newsome General Manager Forum, which serves as a pipeline event for future NFL executives.

McClendon serves on the Chairman’s Forum for Unify Credit Union. He is a standing board member of the newly formed Pro Sports Assembly. McClendon is also on the advisory board for the Black Sports Symposium, as an opportunity to create networking, professional development and job opportunities for black sports professionals.

McClendon spent seven years as an NFL player, which included time with the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins. A four-year letterman at the University of Tennessee, McClendon was an Academic All-SEC selection, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and master’s degree in Sports Management. In 2022, McClendon graduated with his MBA from Brown University.
