Principal, The Rinebold Company
JoJo Rinebold, has more than 25 years’ experience in brand strategy, communications, market research, project management and special event development. She is a principal of The Rinebold Company, an MBE/WBE certified consulting practice based in Central
Indiana. The Rinebold Company’s clients include collegiate athletics conferences and institutions, member associations, advocacy groups, non-profit organizations and law firms.
JoJo’s background originated in sports marketing and management representing national and international events such as the US Open Tennis Championships, the ATP Tour, Boston Marathon and NCAA Championships to international television broadcasters. She served as the primary liaison to international broadcasters on programming, production, scheduling and promotion.
JoJo joined the NCAA where she was responsible for the Association’s television rights agreements, brand strategy, championships marketing, special events and community outreach. For more than a decade, her role with the NCAA involved public-facing brand execution and communications but also internal advocacy and outreach efforts with the NCAA’s 1000+ member institutions, administrators and student-athletes.
Upon departing the NCAA, JoJo co-founded The Cryder Rinebold Company, a strategic communications consulting practice working with organizations at the national, regional and local level. In July 2016, JoJo became the sole owner and principal of The Rinebold Company which continues to provide strategic communications expertise in higher education, sport, media, and non-profit Associations.
Ms. Rinebold received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and her Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
She is a member of North Indianapolis Policy Circle, Zionsville Rotary Club and the Indiana University Alumni Association and is an active volunteer for the Zionsville Little League. She is a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. Ms. Rinebold served as an Emory University E-Mentor and as a member of the Junior League of Indianapolis, Indy Women’s Golf League, the Kelley School of Business Women’s MBA Alumni Advisory Board, St. Monica School Commission and as President of the Fieldstone Homeowners Association.
JoJo is married to Michael Rinebold who is the Chief Executive Officer of LeadingAge Indiana. They have two sons (AJ, 13 and Jackson, 11).
